What is Search Engine Optimization?

Search Engine Optimization refers to improving the quality of a website to appear higher in search results, in order to bring more targeted traffic to a site. When a site is found through a keyword search entered into a search engine, it is considered a natural or organic search, as opposed to finding a site through pay per click advertising.
